In 1986 I was recruited out of college by Bellcore, the tenth company to ever register a .com internet domain. Bellcore was spun out of the prestigious Bell Labs organization to provide joint research and development, standards setting, training, and a centralized point of contact for the US government.
Over the past 35 years, I've had the privilege of designing many large scale systems in the US and abroad. I specialize in system architecture and help companies design or re-architect systems of medium to large scale to improve their cost, performance, reliability, and security. I have worked with teams ranging from 2-3 person startups up to managing a team of > 40 architects delivering initiatives with nine-figure budgets.
In my free time, I enjoy long distance running and cycling.
